It is our great pleasure to announce that we will hold "The UTokyo NY Conference 2018" on Saturday, November 3rd, 2018.
The UTokyo NY Conference is an annual meeting to report on progress in studies supported by the University of Tokyo New York Office, Inc., and we will also introduce research projects of The University of Tokyo in which further developments are expected. In particular, we will present on the prevention of infectious diseases by the rice-based "oral vaccine", and the development of new therapies for cancer and neuromuscular diseases.

The UTokyo NYConferenceでは、東京大学ニューヨークオフィスでサポートしているプロジェクトの進捗をご報告するとともに、これからさらに発展が見込まれる東京大学の研究プロジェクトをご紹介いたします。今回は特に、お米を利用した"食べるワクチン"による感染症予防や、癌や神経筋疾患に対する新たな治療法の開発などについて紹介致します。
